"Recinti" [Enclosures] is an independent media project that takes takes the shape of a documentary. The documentary repots on the set up and development of the Centre of Identification and Reception (CIA) that was built in March 2011 between Oria and Manduria, in the region of Puglia, narrating the events from the arrival of the first Tunisians until the temporary emptying out of the camp. It retraces the stories of those who left Tunisia at the beginning of this year, crossing the Mediterrenean by boat to then find themselves in Italy enclosed in the fences of Lampedusa, Manduria, Santa Maria Capua Vetere and in the Centres for Identification and Expulsion (CIE) built in the wake of emergency. Next to the stories of those who have lived these months between hope, anger, joy and delusion, the documentary will analyse the laws, the effective decrees and the European directives about immigration.
